Last Saturday, my favorite person on earth took me to a birthday brunch at one of my favorite spots, Colorova. It was so delicious and filling and perfect for a cold and gloomy Saturday afternoon. So many new and fabulous flavors!

Have you been there for brunch yet? I highly suggest it.

Lights & Tacos

What used to be a little secret, tucked away in the Marais, and still is to some.

What a wonderful place to sit and have a cocktail with great company. With a taco of course…

Being a regular

I just love Chettinadu so much. Why go to any other place when I know I’ll be just so happy going here?

Brunch at the Barbershop

The Barbershop is one of the 11th’s staple places for all things trendy. Brunch, cocktails, dinner… in a great atmosphere… pourquoi pas?

Ana Clara and I went for brunch a week or so ago, and it was a great place to hang for a bit… Such a cozy environment… Nice and open, which is quite rare in Paris I find.

I had the Eggs Benedict with salmon, one of my all time favorite dishes, which was absolutely delicious, and the menu came with a carrot cake. Just a fabulous side note, they have bottomless drip coffee.

I’m anxious to come back and try their delicious cocktails that I keep hearing so much about.

A Gluten-Free Paradise: Helmut Newcake

I’m not allergic to gluten, but I know many people who eat gluten-free. For gluten-free eaters and all gourmandes, have you been here? It’s delish!

As all of you gluten-free eaters know, the land of pastries and turtlenecks, Paris, is not in 1st place in this domain…

Well, even though Paris may be a bit late, it looks like more gluten-free options are popping up around the city.

Helmut Newcake, which is supposedly the first gluten-free bakery in Paris, offers 100% gluten-free goods on everything in their shop. It’s a new take on French pastries, and has been such a success!

Now that I’m hanging in the 10th a lot more, I’ve FINALLY had the opportunity to pop in and check out these gluten-free desserts that I’ve heard oh-so-much about.

In addition to sitting in for brunch, lunch, or a tea-time snack, they’ve also got a lot of gluten-free products available for purchase, including pasta, cereal, sauces and cooking ingredients. I can’t wait to bring my mom here next time she visits.

The homies behind Candelaria have opened the new bar, Glass, in south Pigalle. With a focus on music and beer, this place is high on my fav’s list after my first visit there this week.

Glass is offering a menu packed with high quality beers, cocktails and boilermakers. You can order delicious hot dogs and assorted homemade pickles to go with your Brooklyn Brewery IPA pint! How perfect does that sound?

Let’s just say that the growler has been introduced in Paris… and I couldn’t be happier.

I’ll go back soon for some new shots. Promise.

Rue Crèmieux

Pastel heaven.

One of the most precious streets in Paris. Hidden by Gare de Lyon and  full of charm.

As long as there is a blue sky it always feels like summer on this street.

What are your favorite streets in Paris?
